Luke 6:38 - Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

In this present time when you say giving all that comes to peoples mind is money, Well money is not the only thing you can give, you can give through hospitality, consoling, praying, teaching and many other ways.

People these days become very selfish with their knowledge that they want to be the only one who knows it. Let me tell you a secret the more you teach the more you understand what you are teaching and the more your mind will expands to learn more, if you keep your knowledge for your use alone then you will be limited to that level knowledge. I figured this out myself,  People who know me very well know I love teaching what I know and guess what I never have a problem understanding anything am being taught because the more I teach the more my memory expands to learn more.

In further research I figured out that those who give with love never lacks. I have met a lot of people and I have studied carefully and I figured out people who give money willingly never lack money, those who give accommodation always own a big house ,those who console others are never wary , and those who give food never go hungry.{if you think other wise of my findings let me know}

Here are some vital things you must note while giving:

If you give all you possess to the poor and give over your body to hardship that you may boast, but do not have love, you gain nothing. {1 Corinthians 13:3}

If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, 'Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,' and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, It is of no use. {James 2:15-16}Don’t give prayers in places were you can give physical help.

In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive. {Acts 20:35}

I pray God grant you the grace to understand giving, and give you the spirit to give with love in Jesus name.Amen!! May the lord Bless your day with joy and you night with rest.

```YOU CAN’T CHANGE GOD’S WILL FOR YOU.```

Luke 22:42 "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done."

I figured out today that it is not always about what we want sometimes it is about accepting what we have. You know what you want but God knows what you need. You may ask for what you want but God will always give you what you need. You can't change God's will for you, Trust me I tried everything I could but no matter how hard you try you can not change the will of God for you, even Jesus asked for it to be change{Luke 22:42 }, but it can't be changed. Trying to change God's will make you depressed and sorrowful always but if you learn to accept and live with it instead of trying to change it, you will always be happy. No matter how strong the storm maybe the sun will definitely rise. Be encouraged no matter what you are going through Just keep praying and believing and you will understand his will for you. Luke 17:17-19 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

A lot of people these days become so concentrated and concern about what God has not done for them that the forget to show a appreciation for what he has done. Ten lepers were healed by Jesus but only one came back to show appreciation and that one was made whole.

Note until you learn to show appreciation in the little things God has done you can never show appreciation if a great thing is done unto you because you will start aiming for a higher miracle forgetting about the one you have received .

Think of a how fellow man feels and does when you show appreciation for even a little thing he does unto you and how he will be motivated to do more and think of his reaction when you do not show appreciation, How much more your creator.

Food for thought: Note this Your APPRECIATION is an APPLICATION for God to do more in your life. So from today onward I urge you to stop thinking about what God has not done and start appreciating his name for even the smallest thing done unto you and you will be blessed immeasurably..

Luke 18:1 – Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

The bible says we should pray without ceasing {1 Thessalonians 5:16-18}. Though a lot of us must have been praying for a while and you feel like giving up because you think God is not answering, well do not give up prayer is the only master key that can open all doors of success. In Luke 18:2-8 Jesus told a parable about a woman whom went to meet a judge to avenge her in her adversary but the judge did not agree to avenge her. A lot of people would have just given up because the judge refuse to assist them but this woman never gave up she kept troubling him. And in verse  4 - 5 the man said to himself though I fear not God nor regard man yet because this widow troubles me. I will avenge her, lest by her continua coming she weary me. This is what an unjust Judge says how much more your father in heaven He will surely answer you and grant you that which you have so longed for just keep praying and have faith.

Note continuous prayers create a coverage around you which will give the enemy no space to afflict you and helps you to create a good relationship with God allowing you to understand his will for you.

The devil always try to find a way to stop you from praying so he will always bring distraction and guilt to you,  each time you want to pray, note that no matter how great your sin is God is merciful and will forgive if you ask for mercy and repent from your sinful ways, do not let the devil use guilt of sin to stop you from praying, Keep on praying do not give up and you will surely be favoured.

Food for thought: If you make prayer an habit then success will become your lifestyle.

4. PUTTING YOUR DESIRES BEFORE GOD: Matthew 6:33 seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and every other thing will be added unto. Many of us put our desires and business before God that is why we work so hard but yet get little out of what we have worked, because unless the lord is with you, you work in vain.{Psalm 127:1 } In what ever you do make sure you put God first always, until you learn to put him first you will continue to work as an elephant and reap like rabbit. The silver is mine and the gold is mine,' declares the LORD Almighty {Haggai 2:8}. for everything is his so make time for God, set aside time to pray always and no matter how busy you are  do not fail to listen to the word of God everyday and most all never miss a chance to get a message from God and give praise to Him.

5. YOUR CHARACTER: In Genesis 4:1-3 when Jacob was about to pass on He gathered his sons and said to Rueben after listing all his qualities and abilities he said unstable as water you shall not excel because of his character, He went and defiled his fathers bed.  A lot of you today are very talented but your character collides with your abilities. Until your character is set right you can never prosper, your talent and abilities may take you places but a wrong character will bring you right down. Learn to be disciplined in your character. A lot of you have a tag of you cannot talk to him or tell him what to do and you like it... Saying yes no one can tell me what to do, see what the bibles say about that {proverb 12:15 the way of a fool is right in his sight: but he that hears counsel is wise.}

5. YOUR PRAYER LIFE: Your prayer life plays a great role in your prosperity, the devil always find a way to stop you from praying because that is the only he can get access to afflict you, and that was why he tried very hard to stop Daniel from praying and when Daniel did not stop praying his answers were released. Prayer is the major key to prosperity.

`1.HIDDEN INTENTIONS: A lot of people do not prosper because of the intentions they have planned in their heart for the time they get prosperous, plans of revenge, fornication, emulations, drunkenness, rebelling. Note that God see’s the heart of all men and until your change those negative thoughts you can never prosper. A lot of people do not commit some sins not because they do not want to but because the do not have the money to. God will never give you anything that will make you go away from his will... To prosper you should start changing your mindset and start thinking how to help others and support God’s work with your prosperity.

2. WHAT THEY DO WITH THEIR TALENT: The bible says a mans gift makes way for him{ Proverbs 18:16 } but what you do with your gifts matters a lot in the bible three different people were given different amount of talent but  the one with one talent saw not the use for it. So he decided to bury it and he ended up losing it to the one whom was give ten {Matthew 25:14-30}… And that why they say the rich are getting richer while the poor get more poorer because they use their talents well.. Ahithophel decided to use his talent of wisdom against David and God turned is his wisdom to foolishness {Samuel 15-31}. God has given us different gift to do his work he has predestinated what we will do to support his work even before we were born {Ephesians 2:10}.To be prosperous you need to use the gift which God has given you well and also to support the work of God…

3. SELFISHNESS:  Luke 6:38 - Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Even many unbelievers know this principle that is why they prosper. The greatest secret of prospering is giving for giving is like sowing a grain of corn and there is no way you can sow a grain of corn and expect to harvest one grain you will definitely reap bountifully.

I pray that God grant you the grace to start changing your mindset towards his will for you and may He start repositioning you for prosperity from today, In Jesus name. Amen!!!

THE POWER IN YOUR EXPECTATION

Your expectations are like pregnancy which is to be delivered in due time and note God is expecting your expectations from him for a chance to be gracious unto you {Isaiah 30:18}.

When some negative news come up most of us begin to expect the negative outcome of that news, and unfortunately it may come to pass as expected note that your expectation matters a lot. Don’t wait till that bad thing starts happening before expecting the good side start expecting positive outcome now immediately.

Most times when we have expectation we go around saying and declaring things that are in contrary to our expectation that is an example of unbelief which means your expectation does not go with faith, Note this down your DECLARATION will determine the MANIFESTATION of your EXPECTATION.

The people you share your expectation with matters a lot too if you share your expectation with the wrong people you may end up loosing the faith in it, Because most of them will begin to show you the negative side of your expectation instead of encouraging you, so instead of going around sharing your expectations with others put it in prayer and believe God can bring it to pass.

One thing is vital to mention, when  you are about to pray consigning anything, make sure you believe first because if you pray and do not believe, it is like poring water on a basket and expecting the basket to hold the water. Take this advice before you start praying make sure you already believe God can do it and if you still have some doubts then don’t pray about that matter ask God to give you the grace to believe first and when the your believe is mature enough before you pray about it.

And note your expectations should come with patience, for they that wait upon the lord shall renew their strength {Isaiah 40:30}.

Most case you may not have a way act towards solving the most problems just believe and wait upon the lord and your expectation will not be cut short.

For we are not only made up of a body but also a spirit and a soul for the desires of the flesh have a great influence on man and when we feed the flesh more the devil have a great hold on our lives, because the more the body is fed the more the spirit is weakened.

For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want {Galatians 5:17}.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

 Envying, murders, drunkenness, revellings, { Gal 5:19-21}

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance{ Gal 5:22-23}

When the spirit is fed more than the flesh it become stronger and we walk by the spirit and when you walk by the spirit you no longer fulfill the lust of the flesh which the enemy useslead us to destruction.

The basic mark of the flesh is that it is unsubmissive. It does not want to submit to God’s absolute authority or rely on God’s absolute mercy.

Note when you dwell in the spirit you always be positive but when the flesh has more effect on you, you will always be negative because, When you are in the flesh you see only see what God has not done for you but when you are in the spirit you will see what God wants to do for you.

Now the question comes how do we feed the spirit?

We have heard a lot of times let us be led by the spirit and I know a lot of us marvel about that statement even though we do not say it out, you are led by the spirit when you keep your heart happy in God, when your heart is resting in the promises of God. The Spirit reigns over the flesh in your life when you live by “faith” in the Son of God {Galatians 2:20}.

Now the answer you feed the spirit by having faith in the son of God and faith come by hearing of the word of God so you are fed in the spirit when you constantly hear the word of God and abstain from the flesh.

I pray God grant you the grace to walking in the spirit and resisting the things of the flesh through Christ our lord. Amen

ARE YOU RESISTING OR ASSISTING THE DEVIL.

RESISTING THE DEVIL WITH YOUR TONGUE.

James 4:7: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Are you submitted to God enough to resist the devil?

Most time we end up unknowingly assisting the devil instead of resisting him because we do not have a close relationship with God to see the works of the devil.

One of the major ways with which we assist the devil is with our tongue is through cursing and swearing.

The power of life and death is in the tongue and those who love it shall eat it’s fruit {proverb 18:22} the devil knows this so he has decided to use the power of our tongue to his own benefits and we end up assisting him in this by dishing out curses every now and then, instead of resisting him.

The tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one's life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell {James 3:5-6}, so be very careful what you say with your tongue especially when you are angry, for your words have the power to create futures .

Let me tell you a secret the curses of others will only have effect on your life if your curse people too for the book of Luke says, bless those who curse you and  pray for those who mistreat you.{Luke 6:27-28}.

As for those who swear by the name of God or any other, are said to be evil ones {Matthew 5:33-37} mean what you say and say what mean.

Jesus resisted Satan when he was tempted with his tongue {Matthew 4:1-10}, well are you doing the same or are you assisting Satan?

But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the Day of Judgment for every word they have spoken. {Matthew 12:36}

I pray that from today God grant you the grace start resisting the devil with your tongues and desist from assisting him, t, through Christ our Lord..Amen!!!

Are you feeling wary in heart and you feel like quitting? , See in order to experience victory in our lives and achieve great things, it is crucial that we choose to be determined and stay steadfast and hold on to your faith in God.

Remember that there is nothing impossible for God to do. Do not stop praying you maybe closer than you thought to your breakthrough. Sometime we end up loosing, while we are so close to being victorious because we decided to give up, For the bible says we will receive the crown of life if we remain steadfast{ James 1:12}.

Note just because you can not see the breakthrough yet doesn’t mean you are not close to it. When you are in storm, remember that rough weather does not last forever the sun will definitely rise again no matter how long the storm lasts. You need to persevere so that you can have will of God done in your life {Hebrew 10:35-36}.

Joseph went through so many tough times including being sold by his brothers and being put in prison but he never gave up on God {Genesis 39 through to Genesis 45}, I know he must have felt God had forsaken him but God was preparing him for the palace so be encouraged, note that, that problem you are going through is preparing you for a greater breakthrough.

You will come into seasons of new growth, seasons where you’ll discover gifts and abilities that you didn’t know you had. You weren’t created to reach one level and get stuck. God has put more in you. He has new levels, new gifts, and new talents for you to discover.

Note that the devil will always try to make you think God is not there, don’t fall into the trap of thinking that everything in life should be easy for us. Ask for God’s help, receive His grace, and be determined to do the will of God, to stay positive and happy, and to walk in the peace of God no matter what.

I pray God gives you the strength to stay steadfast even in the darkest seasons till you get to your victory, through Christ our lord. Amen!!!

Religion says you must EARN your salvation by doing good deeds or certain acts and following certain laws.  Christianity says all we need to do is BELIEVE that Christ has already paid the price for the evil we have done. .  For Jesus Christ stepped into our place and paid the awful price that had to be paid for us.  He gave us the free gift of salvation if we choose to believe in Jesus {1 Pet 3:18}.

Religion is like let’s dress up the outside make it look nice and neat, but it's funny because that's what they use to do to mummies while the corps rots underneath.

In every other aspect of life you will see that, that logic is not worthy, is like saying you play for Chelsea just because you wear their Jersey.

Christianity and religion are on opposite spectrum.

Religion is about what man has to DO to be right with God.  Christianity is about what God has already DONE to provide us the opportunity to be right with Him.

Religion says slave, Christianity says son
Religion puts you in bondage, while Christianity sets you free
Religion makes you blind, but Christianity makes you see{ Rom 3:19-25}.

Religion is about following a set law to be right in the site of God, Christianity is more about receiving Christ as your lord and savior thereby living in grace, having the word of God in your spirit and loving your neighbor { Matt 22:37-40, Rom 13:9-10,}.

Religion is man trying to reach up to God.  The message of Christianity is God reaching down to man, and that is why in Christianity salvation is free to all those who believe in Christ.

With this I hope you see why Christianity is not a religion.

Trial part 2

WHY WE FACE TRIALS

I want you to know in anything you are going through there is divine purpose here are some reasons why we face trial.

1. TO TEST OUR FAITH: sometimes God let trial come to us to test our faith. Job 1:6-22

Job had to go through very many afflictions and God let these afflictions come to him to test his faith but at the end he was restore more than his former glory.

2.FOR US TO FIND THE RIGHT PART: Note if Joseph had not been sold by his brother and put in prison he would have never had gotten to the palace Genesis 42:5-11..Note Jonah had to be swallowed by a fish for him to follow the part God planned for him Jonah 1:11-17. most times God brings trial our path to direct us towards achieving our destiny so do not be depressed when you face trial it is to set you on the right path be encouraged and stand firm..

3. FOR THE NAME OF GOD TO BE GLORIFIED AND TO BRING SALVATION TO OTHERS: If Shadrach Meshach and Abednego had not been put in the fire the king would have never seen the power of God: Daniel 3:16-30, If God had not allowed Paul and Silas to be put in the prison the prison keepers would have not been brought to salvation Act: 16:16-40.

4. FOR US TO CHANGE FROM OUR SINFUL WAYS: In the book of Jeremiah the children of Israel turned away from God and were living in sin this made God to Allow afflictions to come on them until Jeremiah pleaded for mercy and they were restore in Jeremiah 30..Most times affliction comes to us because of our sinful ways but our God is a merciful God, He will forgive as many as repent from their sinful ways and bring restoration upon their life..

Note for every thing you are going through there is a reason just be firm in God and there will divine restoration on your life...

I Pray God grant you the grace to see why you are going through your affliction and strengthen you..

TRIAL PART 1

Trial is said to be an act of testing the quality and performance of something or someone..

Most times we get confused between trial and temptation, Temptation is from the devil which comes to our mind to make us do something unrighteous before God. But trial comes from God to test of our faith, strengthen us, make us wiser, and lead us to the right part.

WRONG MENTALITY ABOUT TRIALS

We get so addicted to the mentality that trial is a very bad experience of suffering and pain and God has forsaken us, but Roman 5:3-5 says

And not only so, but glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulations worketh patience: And patience, Experience and experience bring hope: And hope drive away shame...

Now many will ask why should we glory in tribulation when it is such an awful experience and a period of pain..

Well trial is like working in a dark tunnel hoping to see light some day, we are to glory in tribulation because we are going through a tunnel and at the end of the tunnel there is light and fullness of Joy for sorrow endures for a night and joy cometh in the morning...

So in what ever you are going through do not give up on God believe it is just a for a while light is at the other end..

I pray today God give the strength to go through all your trying times through Christ our lord..Amen!!!
