WHY AM I NOT HAPPY? Part 1
A lot of people have what
they want but yet they are still not happy. I have done some research and found
out three major reasons why people are not happy and why some people don't get
what they prayed for.
1. SELFISHNESS: Many at
times the reason why most people are not happy even though they have all they
need is because of selfishness. You can not be both happy and selfish at the
same time. Most times God have given you talent, wealth and wisdom to help
others not for you own benefits alone, if you continue to use them for your own
selfish gains you can never be happy. Jonah was called by God to go to Nineveh
to preach the gospel but he disobeyed and tried to run away note he had no
peace and even had to stay in the belle of a fish for three days until he
prayed for mercy and decided to do that which he has been destined to do for
the people of Nineveh {Jonah 1,2}.In the same way, you will never be happy
until you use that which have been given to you to support others. Some people
become so selfish that they start being selfish even in their prayers all they
pray for is themselves. Note all that Job lost was restored double to him when
he prayed for his friends {job 42:10}..
A lot of people don't get
what they prayed for because of their selfishness, God can bless you just for
the sake of another person but if you are selfish and not willing to give you
will not receive that blessing.
Try to stop thinking about
yourself alone and starting thinking about what you can do to help others and
you will always be happy.

overcome selfishness and bring happiness to your life in Jesus name. AMEN!!!
