previously by the grace of God we have seen what is meant by faith

how faith is obtained and the concepts of faith.... Now we will proceed to the above topic......,

firstly why is your faith tested

1. Your faith is tested to win Gods approval., imagine you are a father and you give a test to your child to see his intelligence, if he passes the test he definitely has won your approval for other higher tasks. Abraham the father of faith won God approval only after his test to sacrifice his only son..!!

2. To show how much you trust and believe God's word., for if faith comment by hearing and hearing of the word of God how much then do you believe the word you hear?, Hebrew 11;19, "Abraham reckoned that GOD was able to raise Isaac from death-and, so to speak, Abraham did received Isaac back from death..." there is a clear illustration of the height of believe and trust Abraham had for God he knew firstly that God made him a promise, he knew secondly that God could raise his son from death!. 

How are we tested.?

We are tested based on the level of faith we've had, God will not give you a test above the faith(his word) you've not heard. Example

Do you believe in the word "give and it shall be given unto you, coupled with "we have abundance  of riches through Christ" then giving out should not be a problem don't withhold, it shows you don't believe in Gods word.

It comes also in security, do you believe God can keep you safe, coupled with "no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper" then why do you fear that man or woman, why make them bigger than your faith... Don't compromise your faith don't  say "God understands why you can't" brethren take a leap of faith.

There is a reward when you exercise faith over your situation James 1;2-4 ;12,

the best way to pass a test is by saying the word of faith you have received against the situation.

God has so much equipped us with his word we just have to believe them, all and not some of them.
