WHY AM I NOT HAPPY? Part 2.
Continuity of the three
major reasons why people are not happy and why some people don't get what they
want.
2. PUTTING WORLDLY DESIRES
BEFORE GOD: Matthew 6:33 - seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness
and every other thing shall be added unto you. Until you learn to put God first
in all you do you can never be completely happy not even if you achieve the
whole world. If you seek God first in all you do every other thing will added
unto you Including Joy.. For the in presence of God there is fullness of Joy.
Sometimes even you may be in the presence of God but your mind and thoughts is
else were and then you say I am in the presence of God yet I am not happy, My
dear put him first in your thoughts and see how your life will be filled with
Joy.
No one seeks God first in
all and is unhappy. Note that if you only seek God when you are in trouble you
will always be in trouble, because God wants us to seek him always.
Many at times people don't
get what they prayed for because God knows their heart and thoughts and He will
not give you anything that you will put before Him. Until you learn to
completely put God first, some of your prayers will not be answered.
For all those putting work
first before God, unless the lord is with you, you work in vain.{Psalm 127:1}
you will only be fully happy and yield more profits when you put God first. The
silver is mine and the gold is mine, declares the LORD Almighty {Haggai 2:8}
for everything is His so make time for God, set aside time to pray always and
no matter how busy you are do not fail to listen to the word of God everyday
and most of all never miss a chance to get a message from God and give praise
to Him.
I pray that the grace to
put God first in my life always fall upon me and may my life be filled with
