THREE MAJOR WRONG TYPES OF PRAYERS PEOPLE PRAY. Part 1

1) Prayer with an evil motive:
Matt 7:12 All things therefore whatsoever ye would that men should do unto you, even so do ye also unto them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Most people have become very accustomed to praying for the death of anyone that offend them, this is a very wrong type of prayer the bible says do unto others what you want others to do unto you. Note that as you make people your enemies you also become the enemies of other people too imagine them also praying for your death, also look at it from this perspective imagine you have two children and one come to you to kill the other because the other had offended him, how would you consider that matter? In the same way that is how it is when you pray for the death of an offender.
In Matthew 5:43-44 Jesus said but You heard them say unto you love you neighbours and hate your enemies but I say unto you love your enemies bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you and pray for them which persecute you.
Many at time it's is not the will of some people to hurt you but they have been led by the devil and when you pray for their death you are indirectly assisting the devil with his plans. With this I am not saying you should not pray welfare prayers but we wrestle not against flesh and blood, so don't have to pray for the death of a person.
Another thing under prayers with evil motives are prayers with revengeful thoughts, sometimes you pray for a particular blessing or miracle so that you can show or payback those whom have offended you, Note You will never get that blessing until you change your mindset.
I urge you from today to start removing those evil motive behind your prayers and see how your prayers will be answer.
I pray that God help you see those wrong motives behind your prayers for you to change from them and may his Blessing be abundant on you .Have a nice day.
